Sparkling Composers Series
Настоящее имя: Sparkling Composers Series
Sparkling Composers Series was established by Alejandra Salinas and Aeron Bergman around 2001/02 to present solo albums by electronic composers, new and old, whose work give them the feeling of shiny generosity and warmth. These works are fully "musical" in their harmonic range and rhythmic constructs (with or without backbeat), yet they are also fully developed ideas (a rare bird). These discs contain a vague idea of narrative using meditative compositional techniques, which are to be read like a book. Oppositional audio techniques, such as improvisation vs. composition, digital vs. acoustic, weave expressively around each other within the landscape of composition.
When curating the second part of the series in 2003/04, Alejandra & Aeron further explained Sparkling Compositions as 'electronic work using accoustic means, or the reverse. Open yet integral. The narrative thread: never deny an author. Sound and music, deliberately structured, message delivered.'
