The Brunswick Recording Studios in New York were originally located at 16 W. 36th Street, New York. In April 1924, the studios moved to the top floor of the new Brunswick building at 799 Seventh Avenue in New York.
The Brunswick Radio Corp., established by Warner Bros. in April 1930, had its offices on the 14th and 15th floors of the Wurlitzer Building at 120 W. 42nd Street, New York City, starting in June 1930, but kept recording at the 799 Seventh Avenue location until the end of 1931.
When the American Record Corporation acquired the Brunswick label on December 12, 1931, renaming it Brunswick Record Corp., it did not purchase the Seventh Ave. studio. Instead, Brunswick records were recorded at ARC's existing studios at 1776 Broadway in New York City from 1932-1939.
On August 16, 1934, Warner Bros.'s Brunswick Radio Corp. sold its old Brunswick Studio at 799 Seventh Avenue to the newly founded Decca label.
