Theatre Gallery

A music / art / theater venue established in 1984 in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas, USA. It closed in 1988. It was converted by Russell Hobbs from an empty 14,000 square foot warehouse located at 2808 Commerce Street. The original stage for live music was the same makeshift stage the Dead Kennedys had played on to protest the GOP convention. The original sound engineer was Jim "Rev. Horton Heat" Heath. The original music booker was Jeff Liles.
