The Fire Station

Fire Station Studios, aka "The Fire Station", are recording studios in San Marcos, Texas. Owned and operated by Texas State University in support of their Sound Recording Technology Program. Founded by Lucky Tomblin in 1984 and sold to the university in 1993. Also referred to as - The Firehouse - Firehouse Studios - Fire Station Recording Studios, San Marcos, Texas - Fire Station Studios, San Marcos, Texas - Firestation Studios, San Marcos, Texas Sometimes shown as Austin rather than San Marcos. Engineers known to have worked here: Bobby Arnold, Gary Hickinbotham, John Pike (4), Pat Murray, Will Harrison, John Ferrell (2)
