Levon Helm Studios

This entry is for both the studio & the label associated with the studio. American studio in Woodstock, NY, also known as Levon Helm's Recording Studio and The Barn. Re-branded as RCO Studios, Woodstock, NY from 1977 - ? Levon Helm originally built the studio in the the early 1970s, officially opening it in 1975. The barn burned down in 1991, and was rebuilt as a dual-purpose recording studio and live venue (and also Levon & Sandy Helm's home). Now owned & operated by Amy Helm. Also used as label name for a handful of releases recorded during The Midnight Ramble (2) sessions and other releases.
