Studio 13, Deerfield Beach, FL

Studio 13 was a recording studio located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, USA, founded by audio producer and studio engineer Jeremy Staska in 1993. Studio 13 and Staska are recognized for pioneering and establishing the Florida hardcore/metalcore sound in the mid-1990's. Although Staska originally cut his teeth working with bands such as Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids, Jack Off Jill and Amboog-A-Lard, the Florida hardcore sound began taking shape when he collaborated with Culture (2) in April of 1994, Tension (5) in May of 1994 and Strongarm. Bands like Morning Again, Shai Hulud and Poison The Well later solidified the sound of the studio.
