Circo Voador

Traditional cultural space located in Rio de Janeiro - R.J., Brazil. Stage of artistic manifestations and countless shows that boosted the national rock of the 80s, it has seen through its history national and international artists of music. It was opened in 1982 in January on the Arpoador beach promenade and then had to move to Lapa in October, where it settled permanently. In 1996, the space was closed by Mayor César Maia. In 1997 there were shows, events and demonstrations in favor of its reopening, which happened in 2004 with the space still functioning today.
