Yugoslav Radio Broadcasting was founded on November 12, 1952, and with the development of television, in 1958, the organization grew into Yugoslav Radio Television - JRT. Established as a voluntary association, on behalf of its members radio and television stations Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Titograd, Novi Sad, Ljubljana, Skopje and Priština, it performed tasks of common interest for all of them and represented them abroad in terms of multilateral and bilateral cooperation.
