Georges Vriamont

Joris (Georges) Vriamont (1896-1961) was a publisher, score editor, writer and impresario from Brussels, Belgium He also held close relations with artists from his time, such as Maurice Ravel, André Breton and Paul Éluard. Some covers of sheet music published by Georges Vriamont were designed by Magritte, sometimes signed under the pseudonym Emair. He was a close friend to Stijn Streuvels. He represented the firm Erard and Pleyel (both manufacturers of pianos) in Belgium.
