Studio Hérouville
Настоящее имя: Studio Hérouville
French recording studio in the castle of Château d'Hérouville located in the small village of Hérouville, 10 km north of Auvers-sur-Oise, 30 km west of Paris. The castle was bought by French composer Michel Magne in 1962 and converted into a recording studio which became popular in the 1970's and 80's. Elton John named his album Honky Château after the place. Gong, T.Rex, The Bee Gees, Rainbow, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie and Iggy Pop were amongst the many artists recording here. Magne sold the castle in 1984 and the studio closed the following year. In 2015 it was bought by two sound engineers and a media financier, determined to reopen the place. Sometimes referred to as Le Château D'Hérouville, Michel Magne Studios, or Strawberry Studios, France.
