Groupe de musique électroacoustique de Bourges (GMEB) was a French electroacoustic collective/studio, founded in 1970 by composers Françoise Barrière and Christian Clozier. The Group evolved into a full-scale international organization over the years, and changed the name to IMEB (Institut international de musique électroacoustique de Bourges) in 1995. The extensive catalog of works produced by GMEB includes music by the core composers of the group, such as Françoise Barrière, Pierre Boeswillwald, Christian Clozier, and Alain Savouret, and pieces by multiple visiting French and foreign composers: José Manuel Berenguer, Gerald Bennett, Yves Daoust, Beatriz Ferreyra, Horacio Vaggione, Sten Hanson, Erik Mikael Karlsson, Georg Katzer, Maxence Mercier, Nicola Sani and many others.
