C.S.

Unofficial series under the label name C.S. containing original productions and copies of material from the Disconet Program Service label. The first record of the C.S. series was issued in 1980 and the last one in 1984. The series consists of 1 official and 15 bootleg records. All the mixes were considered quality mixes for the early 80's time period when they were released. Some of the first releases have copies of mixes or modified versions from the Disconet Program Service label. The first 8 parts were mixed by mainly Dutch mixers. All records were pressed in Germany. C.S. stands for the two people who founded the label. Speculation exists that the "S" in C.S. stands for Dutch mixer Peter Slaghuis whom is credited on some releases. After that most of the mixes were made in Germany by one of the founders of the label. "DJ News Letters" were also included on some releases indicating playlist and mix credits not present on the vinyl labels. All mailing address information to New York USA, that was similar or the same as early mailing address's that "Disconet" used was false, including any information or claim that they were a division of Sugarscoop.
