Tonstudio Heinz

Austrian studio operated by Gerhard Heinz, located in Vienna. Founded 1964 by Heinz as producer, arranger and composer for commercials. Soon after opening, he invested in a film projector , so it was possible to record audio to screened film material. Heinz composed soundtracks for over 140 films from 1965 till the late 1990s, all recorded in his own studio. He also composed and produced hundreds of TV and radio commercial jingles. In the 1970s, he also invested in a cassette duplication machine which was the first in Austria. He produced cassettes for all major labels as well for smaller bands or companies.
