Spanish record company, owner of Marfer label, first named Marfer Records. It was founded by two partners around 1964/65, Antonio Martinez and Emilio Fernandez, who started their collaboration some years before at the Cubalegre label. Some Cubalegre recordings were added to the new label. Marfer was Initially oriented to latin, folk, copla, flamenco and orchestral releases, but in the late sixties and seventies they also release some pop recordings, and had the licensing rights for Fantasy label, including The Creedence Clearwater Revival. The last hit for Marfer was "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life", by Indeep in 1983.
Co-founder with Iberofon, S.A. as main investor and Movieplay (later Fonomusic) of Estudios Sonoland.
In 1985 the label was closed and they sold some parts of the catalogue (mainly orchestral and flamenco) to Dial Discos, S.A.. In 2001, Discos Lollipop adquired the pop recordings, among others, and the trademark. In 2006, Lollipop recovered the use of the label. Finally, after Mr. Antonio Martinez died in 2013, the rest of the whole catalog was adquired by Discos Lollipop in june 2014 to his heirs.
