Safice Records
Настоящее имя: Safice Records
Also appears as "Safice" only.
The Safice label was formed in Washington DC by Al Bell, Eddie Floyd and Chester Simmons, the label's name being created from a mish-mash of the six first initials of each of its three owners' two names, AI (for Al Isbell) EF and CS.
Bell had run a small label before in conjunction with his dee-jay activities first in Little Rock and then in Memphis. It had been called Devore but he closed it down when he moved to DC.
Safice only lasted from 1964 to around the middle of 1965 issuing around half a dozen 45s but there were some impressive performances amongst them.
