Universal Songs

Dutch music publisher, especially of gospel music, as well as pop, rock, rap, dance, country, classic and Christian music. Active since 1964, the company also publishes songbooks and sheet music, having bought over the time several Dutch sheet music publishers, like Joh. de Heer En Zn, ARS Nova, De Harp, Lispet, Domburg and Smeets Kooruitgaven. Was later renamed as Unisong Music Publishers B.V. In 1989 the company became part of BMG Music Publishing, gaining access to worldwide representation of songs through its agents, mostly BMG affiliates. From 2002 the company operated under the name BMG Unisong Music Publishing, or simply as BMG Unisongs. After the acquisition of BMG Music Publishing by Universal Music Publishing Group in 2006, the company was merged into Universal Music Publishing B.V.
