Vester Allé Kaserne, Aarhus

Former military barracks in central Aarhus, a part of the military quarters that also included Ridehuset, Aarhus situated opposite the Aarhus Town Hall and Musikhuset Aarhus. Biuld in 1875-1878 and was operational for military use until 1969. In the 1970's it was used by a variety of local NGO's and from the mid 1980's by Aarhus Folkemusikskole, currently named Aarhus Musikskole. Also the residence for a youth clubwhich a.o. had the project band Opgang 2 (2).
