Настоящее имя: Apon Record Company
The Apon Record Company Inc. is the registered owner of the Apon label. Established in the United States in 1958, the first president of the company was M. Poncic. The company produced a wide range of phonograph records and cassettes, and VHS tapes of folk music and movies. Languages include: Ukrainian, Czech/Bohemian, Slovak, Hungarian, Polish. The Apon Record Company was also the United States distributer for a number of European labels including Supraphon, Harmonia Mundi and Amadeo.
The logo design for the label included a number of variations — originally a simple oval with "APON" in the center, and from 1980 an oval with a flying duck. The most common logo was a round stylised phonograph symbol with APON in the middle. Later, when the company issued CDs under the Apon label, an accompanying logo "LOVE" was used.
