Dynamic Laserdisc
Настоящее имя: Dynamic Laserdisc
Dynamic Laserdisc BV
Former CD pressing plant in Hilversum, The Netherlands, owned by Dutch industrialist Frits Kroijmans. Pressed CDs for Dino Music and Arcade, amongst others.
Operated from June 1990 until its bankruptcy in Mid 1994. Subsequently taken over by Sentinel N.V. in Belgium and became Sentinel B.V. See Sentinel (4).
Use the 'Pressed By' credit when shown in the CD matrix as DYNAMIC LASER DISC, Dynamic Laser Disc, DYNAMIC LASERDISC, Dynamic Laserdisc, DYNAMIC or Dynamic.
The matrix pattern changed sometime in 1993 from:
Dynamic Laser Disc [Label Cat #] [Glass Master Company / or none] pattern (June 1990 - approx. 1993) (or in full caps)
to
Dynamic * [Label Cat #] * (approx. 1993 - Mid 1994) (or in full caps)
Based upon this change in pattern, CD's with both variants have to be split.
[B]Matrix number[/B]
The 5 or 6 character code after the word DYNAMIC in the matrix appears to show the date that the CD glass master was created. For example:
Inner Light
Matrix: Dynamic 30824 * KK.REC KK 107 *1
Date: 1993-08-24
Buseruka (Lied Voor Rwanda)
Matrix: DYNAMIC 40630 ✳ DINO DNCS 2164 ✳1
Date: 1994-06-30
These numbers are not release-specific, and therefore should not be entered as catalogue numbers for this pressing plant. However, they may be used to rule out impossible release dates that predate the glass master date.
Glassmasters were done at other plants, but they are not always mentioned in the CD matrix.
Use the 'Glass Mastered At' credit if:
"ICM Mastering" or "ICM MASTERING" is used in the CD matrix, use ICM Mastering
"DIGIP" is used in the CD matrix, use Digipress
"GZ" is used in the CD matrix, use Gramofonové Závody
