Sonopresse

French label, production & distribution company established in 1958. Also appears as "Disques Sonopresse" and "Sonopresse Disques". Note: Not to be confused with German manufacturer Sonopress or Dutch manufacturer Sonopresse (2). For distribution credits please use Distribution Sonopresse Sonopresse was a 50/50 joint venture between the publishing / distributing company Hachette and Gérard Tournier. On July 6th 1976, Sonopresse S.A. (the legal entity behind the Sonopresse imprint) was wholly acquired by Pathé Marconi EMI S.A. Sonopresse S.A. ceased operations in 1979.
