The 7 Series

The 7 Series was a set of seven releases issued by Island Def Jam Music Group in May 2003 to highlight albums that had reached platinum status and help in prolonging their promotion. These are technically abridged versions of the albums, but are officially considered compilations, as confirmed by the text near the copyright information on the back covers.
