Picci

Italian independent label, founded by Giuseppe Cassia which didn't exist very long. All productions were concentrated in the years 1972-73. In the first year, apart from the first LP which was probably distributed by RCA, records were distributed by CGD Messaggerie Musicali S.p.A.. Then, in middle 1973, the distribution moved to Aris (2) and coincided with a change of the graphics used on the labels. The circulation amount of Picci's albums were always very low, a few hundred copies, for each LP. The name Picci came from its founder's initials (Giuseppe 'Pino' Cassia).
