Radio-Televizija Novi Sad

The Radio-television of Novi Sad (RTNS) broadcast its first radio program as Radio Novi Sad, on November 29th, 1949. Television broadcasting began in 1975. It operated as an independent broadcaster under the state Yugoslav Radio-television (JRT) until the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia in 1992, when it was absorbed into RTS. It became independent again in 2006 and commenced broadcasting as RTV (3).
