On November 25, 1964, it was purchased by MCA Inc. as part of the purchase of the wider group. Also appears as "Duchess Music Corporation", "Duchess·Music Corp., Inc." and "Duchess Mus. Corp." or sometimes misspelled as "Dutchess Music Corp." or "Dutches Music Corp." on releases.
