Damien Gerard Studios

Recording studio located in Balmain, Sydney, for many years until it moved to West Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, in 2019. Russell Pilling mix engineer, Andrew Beck chief engineer, Marshall Cullen studio manager. Established by Adam Everingham and Luke Everingham in Ultimo, Sydney, at various times Damien Gerards used the premises of, or shared space with, Festival Studios, and Charing Cross Studios. In 1985 Marshall Cullen and partners took over ownership of the facility. During this time Russell Pilling began his long-standing association there. In 2001, the studio took over the Electric Avenue Studios premises in Balmain, until the move to the Central Coast in 2019. In Balmain its basic mastering suite was Red Stairs Mastering, and its premium mastering was at one point carried out by William Bowden at King Willy Sound.
