Absurd and its imidiate familly of monikers is the brainchild of Nicolas Malevitsis and the real-life greek proof that things can be done in a different way. Specializing in almost everything, but notorious for its championing of all things noisy and for a quite spectacular dip in reductionism’s sparse waters back in the golden old days, it continues to confound expectations and insist on neglected corners. Absurd's final release absurd # 84 :bye bye butterfly was in fact a mini festival organised by Nikolas on Saturday the 4th of December 2010 at the ’Spiti Politismou’ of F.E.X. in Xanthi. As you may have already noticed there is a release with catalogue number # 85 (Bye Bye Butterfly) that comes of course after the end of absurd's activity as well as a further one with cat# πτώματα κάτω από το κρεββάτι (Gravity @ Half Speed / A Sunburned Grotto) that connects absurd with Nikola's next project/label Πτώματα Κάτω Από Το Κρεββάτι.
