Sound Recording Centre Steurbaut

Belgian sound engineering company & recording studio (Gent) ran by Gilbert Steurbaut. May appear on releases as: Klankstudio (G.) Steurbaut, Studio Steurbaut, Studio G.S.T. or Steurbaut Sound Recording Center. Gilbert Steurbaut started Studio Steurbaut in 1967 in a room at home, located in the Koning Albertlaan, Gent, Belgium. In 1975, he bought a factory building at the Antwerpsesteenweg, Sint-Amandsberg. There Gilbert Steurbaut installed a huge recording studio, even able to record symphonic orchestras. He used the natural acoustics of the building, for which he was well known and appreciated.
