Cultural centre in Schaerbeek (Schaarbeek), Brussels, Belgium, housed in the former Sainte-Marie covered market built in 1865 and destroyed by a fire in 1898. Mostly abandoned throughout the 1920s to the early 1970s, renovations started in 1984, with the venue finally opening in 1997.
The site features three performance halls: the Grande Halle (capacity: up to 2000 standing spectators), the Petite Halle (multipurpose room) and the Cave (foyer, bar, multi-purpose space).
Also appears on releases as "Les Halles".
