The Wool Hall
Настоящее имя: The Wool Hall
Residential recording studio built in a 16th-century wool store located in Church Street in the village of Beckington about 15km south of Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom.
The building was originally converted into a recording studio in the 80’s by Tears For Fears, initially for private use. The Wool Hall was acquired by Van Morrison in 1994, who sold it in 2002. The studio was subsequently sold in 2016 into 3 residential living units and its equipment auctioned.
The Smiths' final photoshoot took place outside the studio while recording Strangeways, Here We Come - shortly before guitarist Johnny Marr left the band.
