Werner Studios

Danish recording studio located in the north-west area of Copenhagen, in which a huge number of recordings were done with top Scandinavian pop, rock and fusion artists in the period 1977 to 1995. Werner Studio was founded in 1975 by Swiss radio technician Werner Scherrer, who owned and ran the studio together with Danish producer & musician Michael Bruun and musician & studio manager Henrik Bødtcher until year 2000, when it was sold and renamed to MillFactory. The studio started on a location on Frederiksundsvej, Copenhagen, and ended at a location on Rentemestervej, Copenhagen. Besides before mentioned Jørgen Knub and Mads Nilsson were regular engineers and a.o. Finn Lyngemark was affiliated engineers. Affiliated with the production company Great Dane Productions and the mobile unit Werner Mobile Studio, and from 1981 to 1991 with the record company Replay Records (5).
