Imprimerie J. Marx et Cie
Настоящее имя: Imprimerie J. Marx et Cie
French printing company, active in the 50's until December 1959, succeeded by Imprimerie Jean Colombet at the same address in January 1960.
During the 50's, Imprimerie J. Marx et Cie used special codes (printed on back cover) to identify the manufacturing date, e.g. 5-54, 6-54, etc., where 54 = 1954, and the first number indicating the month, e.g. 5 for May. So, 5-54 means May 1954. If just two digits are printed, e.g. 17, 87, etc., 1 = January and 7 = 1957, 8 = August and 7 = 1957.
This code can be entered in the "barcode and other identifiers" section as Other with description "Printing date code". The date can be added to the description too. For example, if "87" appears, enter "Printing date code, August 1957" as description.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD THE PRINTING CODE OR THE DATE IN THE CAT.# FIELD.
