London based manufacturing company.
Principal activities - plating, pressing, manufacturing of gramophone records and cassettes.
Established in August 1955 by Marcel Rodd, originally to press and distribute a catalogue of nursery rhymes and bedtime stories. Later the company acquired the catalogue of the Concert Hall Record Club, the leading American manufacturer of budget line classical music. After 1982 Allied Records Ltd. only continued to press LPs, until 1985.
In 1986 Allied Records Ltd. was dissolved by parent Art & Sound Ltd. and the plant was closed.
