First located at 56 Hope Road (Bob Marley's house, now a museum), it was relocated at 220 Marcus Garvey Drive in 1981 when Rita Marley acquired Federal Records Studio (Federal Record Mfg. Co. Ltd.) which was reopened as the "new" Tuff Gong Recording Studio.
Records mastered & pressed there can be identified by their Matrix/Runout etchings with the prefix Rmm (Rita Marley Music) or MML (Marley Music Limited)
Mastering & Lacquer cutting engineers Spiderman (2), Rayman Jones aka Jones and Sylvester Ayre and Garland (17) are known to work there.
