The Studio for Electronic Music at the Hochschule für Musik Köln was established in 1965 by Dr. [a32182] and later directed by Prof. [a273519], making this studio one of the oldest among higher education institutions in Germany. Prof. Michael Beil has been the director of the Studio since 2007.
