Owned by Boston song-poem entrepreneur Lew Tobin. Five Star Music Masters was his front company that solicited song-poem lyrics via advertisements. Five Star Music Productions was his production company that produced rough demos and made acetates that were sent to clients. Clients who then paid for more fully-produced renditions of their songs would receive pressed vinyl records on his Sterling Records (2) label.
