Label founded by Belgian sound engineer Jan Vanwelkenhuysen for the release of recordings by local artists (including many choirs and school projects) effectuated by his team of students at the RITCS (including Paul van der Jonckheyd, Ludo Ceurremans and Piet Stengele). In August 1972 Van der Jonckheyd and Ceurremans founded their own mobile recording and lacquer cutting studio by the same name Foon and would continue the label for some time. Initial releases were mainly pressed by Fonopers.
