Настоящее имя: Pickwick Records Of Canada Ltd.
Canadian record company subsidiary of Pickwick International, Inc., established in 1965, also owner and operator of Keel Record Mfg. Of Canada Limited. Their budget labels (Pickwick/33 Records, Hilltop, Cricket (2), Design Records (2), Instant Learning Records) were originally distributed by Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd.. Under the direction of General Manager George Wade (1965-1971) and John E. Leetham (1971-1981) they soon built a network of regional distributors across Canada and became a main manufacturer and distributor of independent Canadian labels in the late 1960s and the 1970s (starting in 1969 with Sound Canada and hi-lite). Pickwick Records of Canada Ltd. ceased operations in June 1982. After this date the Canadian arm of Pickwick was solely a distributor for Pickwick International product in Canada, appearing on releases as Pickwick Records Division Of Canada.
