Now Playing

Now Playing is a radio sampler series created by Sparrow Records as multi-artist singles exclusively for radio promotion and ran in 1996 and 1997. Sparrow utilized this format to promote the latest artist singles in place of single artist CD singles. The CDs in this series were exclusive to the CCM radio industry and never available to the general marketplace. Sparrow Records noted the format after the song title to assist radio DJs. The Now Playing series often featured exclusive radio-friendly mixes and edits available nowhere else.
