Ленинградский Завод Грампластинок (Leningrad Plant of Records) was located in city Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), USSR, owned by label Мелодия. Sometimes there is a shorter note on the center labels - Ленинградский Завод (Leningrad Plant) but you should have to differ between pressings before and after 1965 (see last sentence).
After the dissolution of the USSR on 25th May 1991, on May 16th, 1992 Leningrad city was renamed to Saint Petersburg, now Russian Federation. Also the plant was renamed to С.-Петербург. Завод Грампластинок (2).
You can recognize and distinguish Leningrad Record Factory presses from other Melodya plants by its design with usually yellow labels and very often green letters. It's typically for this pressing plant, but doesn't have to be for all Labels of this plant.
For releases before 1965 with "ЛЗ" or "Ленинградский Завод" logo please use label Ленинградский Завод.
