Cruquius

Dutch vinyl pressing plant, originally based in Vijfhuizen and later moved to Heemstede, where it took over the premises of Nederlandse Gramofoonplatenfabriek in the early seventies. It was founded in late 1963 by Marinus J. (Rien) Duisterhof, formerly of Delta (2). Operated as N.V. Cruquius from at least 1964 to ca. 1974 and as Cruquius B.V. from then until at least 1987. Please credit using the legal ending if it appears on release. There is a rare example of the plant's name being stamped in the matrix area (see pictures), but no indication this was common practice. Also appears printed on releases as Grammofoonplatenfabriek Cruquius.
