Rosenberg Studio
Настоящее имя: Rosenberg Studio
Danish recording studio established by engineer Ivar Rosenberg in 1971 when his former studio Ivar Rosenberg Lydteknik is moved to Dortheavej 39 in Copenhagen. In the first half of the 1970s it is the leading studio in Denmark with a large number of Danish rock acts recording here, including the milestone Gas 5, produced by Roy Thomas Baker. By this time (1975) the studio contains the most sophisticated recording equipment in Denmark, a 24-track tape recorder and an advanced mixing board. The equipment is paid by the record company Sonet / Dansk Grammofon A/S who also becomes majority owners of the studio. From 1976, the studio quickly loses ground to the newly established Sweet Silence Studios and as Sonet turns towards more pop-oriented artists, Rosenberg gradually loses interest. He finally quits by the end of 1978 and the studio is renamed to Studio 39. Note that some releases recorded here confusingly use the name of Rosenberg's previous studio, Ivar Rosenberg Lydteknik. Sometimes also referred to as Rosenberg Studios or Rosenberg Studie (in Danish). On some records even credited as Rosenborg Studio, Copenhagen like here: Listen!
