Korm Plastics

Dutch experimental label founded in 1984 by Frans De Waard. In 1992 the label began operating as a part of Staalplaat, but this relationship ceased in 2003. Korm Plastics released music until 2015. Since 2019 Korm Plastics is active publishing books about music.
kp 1 was never released.
kp 2 was a booklet entitled "Archive No. 1". *
kp 9 was a booklet entitled "Archive No. 3". *
kp 11 was a booklet entitled "1986 Calendar".
kp 21 was a booklet entitled "1987 Calendar".
kp 22 was never released. It was intended to be the Kapotte Muziek/Odal tape which was instead released on Korm Plastics Canada.
After kp 23 (in 1987), the label switched catalogue number schemes and next was kp 187. This new numbering method used an incremental number (starting from 1) followed by the 2-digit year of release.
kp 187 was a booklet by F. De Waard entitled "In Print".
kp 2489 was a colouring book by The Haters.
kp 5995 was never released. It was intended to be Quest "Sol" CD.
Two CD-only series also exist. The earlier series began with KIP 001 in 1993 and ended with KIP 018 in 1999. The next series began with KP 3001 in 2000 and is still running.
A smaller CD series was also begun in 2004 to re-release material by The Hafler Trio. These feature Paragraph/Subsection catalogue numbers.
In addition there were a few miscellaneous cassette releases with unique catalogue numbers or none at all.
Some of the cassettes were reissued in 1999 on CDrs specially printed with the Korm Plastics name & logo.
