Vinyl, cassette and CD manufacturing arm of Warner Communications Inc. / Time Warner / Warner Music Group from 1978 to October 2003, when it was sold and merged into Cinram International. Also credited as: WEA Mfg. WEA Manufacturing did not start manufacturing their own CDs until September 1986 when they were pressed at either Specialty Records Corporation or Allied Record Company. Around 1996/1997 Specialty Records Corporation was renamed WEA Mfg. Olyphant and Allied Record Company was renamed WEA Mfg. Commerce.
