New incarnation incorporated 2017/03/31, Amtsgericht Hamburg HRB 145800. Music publishing company, one of the German subsidiaries of Warner Chappell Music, Inc. Affiliated with GEMA, it mostly publishes domestic music works. For sub-publishing foreign music works in Germany, Neue Welt Musikverlag GmbH operates as such subsidiary. In 2001 it changed it’s legal name to Hanseatic Musikverlag GmbH & Co KG. Operates again since 2017 after German operations of Warner Chappell Music underwent restructuring, which led to simplify its legal structure. On releases the name is often shortened to either Hanseatic, Hanseatic Musikverlag or Hanseatic M.V.
