German record company, operating the Jumbo-Record shellac pressing plant in Frankfurt/Oder and in Berlin.
The plant also pressed for Fonotipia, Jumbola and Odeon.
Often appears as "Pressed in Frankfort A/O" or "Pressed in Germany".
Established in January 1908 by the Fonotipia Co. Ltd., as subsidiary of International Talking Machine Co. m.b.H. (Odeon). Raymond A. Gloetzner becomes director and in October, Richard Seligsohn (also from Odeon) becomes 2nd director.
In 1909, the company decides to make Berlin the new headquarter and Frankfurt/Oder the branch.
In 1911, International Talking Machine Co. m.b.H. and Fonotipia Ltd. are taken over by Carl Lindström A.-G.
In 1913, after completion of a pressing plant (known as The Mead Works) in Hertford, England, the manufacturing is transferred there and the Frankfurt/Oder plant is closed.
In 1916, the company is dissolved after liquidation.
