Sabado Som
Настоящее имя: Sabado Som
Underground Brazilian label from the early to mid 1970s headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and named after Rede Globo's TV programme "Sábado Som" (Saturday Sound) regularly aired from 1974 to 1975 and hosted by journalist Nelson Motta. While the TV programme itself presented diverse mainstream international bands and artists from pop, hard and progressive rock fields, the Sábado Som label - alongside with BASF's Brazilian division - was curiously concentrated in providing German rock albums, mainly license repressings of Brain and Bacillus Records albums.
