National Arts Centre / Centre National Des Arts

Canadian centre for the performing arts, designed by Fred Lebensold in the Brutalist style and opened on 2 June 1969. It has four stages: the Southam Hall (2,323 seats), the Babs Asper Theatre (897 seats), the Azrieli Studio (300 seats) and the Fourth Stage. It is home to the National Arts Centre Orchestra. Centre culturel et artistique canadien situé à Ottawa (Ontario), inauguré le 2 juin 1969. L'architecte est Fred Lebensold et l'édifice est de style brutaliste. Il comprend 4 salles: la salle Southam (2323 sièges), le Théâtre Babs Asper (897 sièges), le Studio Azrieli (300 sièges) et la Quatrième Salle (150 sièges). C'est le domicile du National Arts Centre Orchestra.
