Paula Cooper Gallery

American contemporary art gallery, located in New York City since 1968. Paula Cooper Gallery was the first art gallery in the SoHo district and featured numerous groundbreaking exhibitions and events by renowned US minimalist artists and sculptors, including Robert Mangold, Donald Judd, Robert Ryman, Dan Flavin, Carl Andre, Sol Lewitt, Jennifer Bartlett, Joel Shapiro, Robert Gober, Claes Oldenburg, Jonathan Borofsky, Sophie Calle, Yayoi Kusama, and Zoe Leonard. In addition to art exhibitions and installations, PCG regularly hosts concerts, music symposiums, dance performances, book receptions and poetry readings. Paula Cooper Gallery launched an in-house record label in 2000, Dog W/A Bone.
