Pain Expo Brood - Belgium - In the 1940s, the company Diapharm (Dia) was founded to bring bakery products on the market. The brand made fame with products such as Expo-bread, Panifor, Dia-hoevebrood, Biomout, Dia-Frangipane, etc. and evolved into one of the market leaders as a manufacturer of bakery ingredients. In the late 1950's and the early 1960's they released this Pain - Expo - Brood 45 rpm-records to promote bread. All the singles are MONO recordings.This is not mentioned on the records. The full serie is numbered from E 1 until E 60. There exists a hard to find wooden box with Pain Expo Brood logo to collect the records. All the music and songs on the records are cover versions except on E 12 Un Clair De Lune A Maubeuge. On side B you can find the first original release of Pour Toi Seul by [a587733]. Record E 4 and E 5 are not listed on the backcovers. E 4 an E 5 are 2 special promo's for bakers only and not for sale. This is not mentioned on the records. Patrick Roels, decides to be a part of this famous and high-quality products back on the market by the name Patisco. Patrick was active since the early 1970s at Diapharm, meanwhile renamed Diafarm, and had extensive knowledge of the products, their properties and their applications.
