Double Beat Sequencer

"Double Beat Sequencer" is a 6-part series of unreleased recordings by Merzbow recorded back in 2014 and released by スローダウンRECORDS during fall & winter of 2021. In this series, 6 albums containing the sound source played with the sequencer in the background. The sequencer uses Dwarfcraft Devices' 8-step sequencer The Pitch Grinder. The six works that make up the series are titled Double Beat Sequencer Vol.1 ~ 6, but Double Beat is the name of Roland's Wah Fuzz pedal AD-50, which is a favorite of Merzbow.
